Berets and Cardi’s and Boots Oh My! [NEW PATTERNS]

One Thimble 15 sew4bub.com

My husband has this saying that he likes to bring out when either of our daughters mentions that she wishes that life was this way or that, or that she had this trinket or that. He likes to tell them to hold out their hands, and then he volunteers to spit into one while they wish into the other and suggests that they see which hand fills first. This is always met with squeals and giggles and the daughter in question getting as far away as possible (I don’t blame them).

Although this is not the way I might choose to illustrate it, he does have a point about wishes. That said, I do wish I had better photography skills and then I would be able to show you how amazing the patterns in the upcoming One Thimble Magazine are (without spending 4 hours trying to edit the photos, which is what I spent the better part of yesterday doing).

It is done though, and I can finally show you what we have contributed to the issue (Issue 15 due for release on 12 May) as well as some of the other gorgeous patterns that you will receive when you pick up your copy.

If you haven’t seen One Thimble before, It is a quarterly digital sewing magazine that has as many as 14 different PDF sewing patterns included in the price as well as a swathe of articles and projects. It is amazing, and unbeatable value for money. They even have all the back issues available on the site so you can really build up your pattern library for minimal cost.

Anyway, enough of me blabbing on. We have contributed 2 patterns to the issue:

#116 V-Neck Cardigan – this comes in uni-sex kids sizes 2-10

One Thimble 15 sew4bub.com

and

#115 Beret – which comes in sizes to fit newborn to adult

Both of our patterns are quick beginner friendly patterns with such cute results, but the bonus is, that most of the other garments the kids are wearing in the pics are also available in the issue too!

I am so excited to share this launch with you – if you pick up a copy and sew up something from the issue be sure to grab some pics and hashtag them #SEW4BUB I would love to see your creations!

As always, thanks for reading.
