We have just launched a bunch of new patterns over at our web store and I really got carried away customizing fabrics for the collection. I did up a few fabric designs based on our new logo, and being the DIY kinda gal that I am, decided to have a go at block printing them (because having them printed would be too easy right?).
I absolutely loved how they turned out, and to say that I am now kind of obsessed with the technique would be pretty accurate. It is easy enough to get good results right off the bat and it is endlessly customize-able (that is a word right?).
So to get you started I have put together a mini stamping/printing project that is a really great way to try it out and see if you like it as much as I do.
Check out the start to finish process in the clip below:
As usual thanks for reading, and if you print some custom labels for your hand makes, be sure to take some pics, hashtag them #Sew4bub and show us what you’ve got! we would love to see.
