So, recently I got the chance to test the new Slouchy Sweatshirt pattern from Nap-Time Creations and this is a very comfy sweatshirt. Perfect for relaxing by the beach on what turned out to be a very windy day (hence the hair style 🙂 )
This pattern has a relaxed fit, and is super fast and easy to sew up. You can sew the whole the whole thing on your serger, with 1 yard or so of fabric (if you use the 3/4 sleeves like I did, the full length sleeves will need a little more).
I sized up for my version of the sweatshirt, I measure at a small but here I have made the medium. and it is perfect for just hanging out, or working out (if I ever get around to that).
The only change I would make if making this again, which I more than likely will, is to shorten the neck binding, it sits up a little on this one, it doesn’t bother me enough to unpick it though 😉
This is a simple pattern without hundreds of options, but as Emily says, the price reflects that. This pattern is on sale too, through to black Friday for just $4 (USD) .
Check out Nap-Time Creations pattern launch post for the Slouchy Sweatshirt pattern here for loads of other tester pics, and for links to the pattern.
If you end up making your own version of the slouchy sweatshirt, leave me a comment ant let me know what you think.
As always, thanks for reading.
